Our Approach
Every client relationship follows the same path
The methodology is deliberately simple. The rigour is in the order.
The Principle
Strategy, then system, then software.
Platforms do not solve retention problems. A clinic or brand can own excellent software and still lose two out of three clients — because the strategy inside it, the behaviour around it, and the measurement on top of it were never built. We design the customer strategy and the operating structure first. The software then has something worth automating.
Discovery
We begin by understanding your business, your clients, and your current retention reality.
What you contribute
- Access to your CRM or booking platform data
- An honest conversation about what has and hasn't worked
- Your commercial priorities for the next twelve months
What Tenue produces
- A structured read of your client base, service mix and communication history
- Clarity on what the engagement should focus on — and what it shouldn't
Analysis
We audit your data, communications and client journey — identifying the highest-leverage opportunities.
What you contribute
- Data exports and platform access
- Time with the people who talk to clients every day
What Tenue produces
- A KPI baseline benchmarked against your industry, so later claims can be measured honestly
- Retention and rebooking diagnosis: where clients fall away, and what it costs
- A prioritised plan — behaviour and system fixes first, journeys second, client value third
Build
We design and implement your retention system — built in your platform, ready to work.
What you contribute
- Decisions at defined checkpoints — options presented, choices made quickly
- Team availability for training sessions
What Tenue produces
- Segmentation architecture and lifecycle journeys
- Automation flows and a campaign calendar, live in your platform
- A communication framework so team and automations speak in one voice
- Team training — because software only remembers what people do
Optimise
We monitor, refine and evolve the strategy as your business grows.
What you contribute
- A regular reporting rhythm — brief, and worth reading
What Tenue produces
- Cohort-based measurement against the original baseline
- Candid reporting, including the numbers still moving
- Refinements to flows, segments and campaigns as real behaviour comes in
From strategy to working system
Why this holds after we leave
A strategy becomes a system when three things exist: segments that decide who hears what, journeys and automations that decide when, and trained people who create the moments no software can. Each engagement builds all three, then puts a measurement rhythm on top so the owner can see the system working — or see early where it isn't.
The evidence for this order is practical, not theoretical. In our work with Meraki Aesthetics, the largest single finding was a sevenfold spread in rebooking rates across one team using the same software — proof that behaviour, not tooling, was the constraint. Read the case study
